In 1965, José Oriol Marín founded DISBOTON as a small family business dedicated to the creation of buttons based solely on
handcrafted methods; the company focussed on haberdashery and top-of-the-range tailoring and dressmaking.
The next generation in the family changed the focus of DISBOTON; reorienting and restructuring the original
business model led the company to focus on the Fashion industry and the expansion of new markets. All without
forgetting the company's origins and specific handicraft production processes that gave our products a unique identity.
